Motorsport UK Emergency Responders Webinar

The Why, not the Who
We’re inviting you to a special online session where we want to share with each other experiences and learning from incidents over the last 12-18 months.
These personal experiences highlight a crucial aspect in motorsport safety: the ability to share where things have gone well, and to learn from where could maybe have gone better. Hearing about practical examples and strategies so that other teams can learn from them and adapt them to situations that they may be involved in will help us all improve how we operate.
This will be a safe space to air personal opinions. Everyone feeling comfortable speaking up is vital.
If things could maybe have gone better… that’s ok. We need to own our mistakes, but when that’s done in an appropriate way, the culture is there for us to lean into each other and help each other. Let’s reframe how we look at things, turning them into opportunities for growth and improvement, rather than shying away when something goes wrong.
If you’ve got something that you want to share or talk through with the group, please let us know in advance so that we can plan the timings of the session.
This is one of our bi-monthly webinars aimed specifically at those involved in a first response role at incidents. Attendance is restricted to Motorsport UK licenced Medical, Rescue and Recovery personnel (full and trainee) and licence numbers will be verified before your registration is confirmed. Our webinars usually last for around 90 minutes and you'll receive a certificate as evidence of attendance.
